EMDR Canada is the Canadian branch of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), which is a professional association where practitioners and researchers seek the highest standards for the clinical use of EMDR.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a method of psychotherapy that is used for the treatment of trauma and various other condtitions.

Members of EMDR Canada must have: a minimum of a master's degree in clinical or counselling psychology or social work; membership in a professional association that has a written code of ethics or standards of conduct; professional liability insurance.
