Friendship In Action (FIA)
FIA is a registered children's charity providing facilitated peer to peer support groups to children, from Grade 4 through to College & University as well as for the Adults that care for them. School aged groups are run in person through partnerships with the TDSB TCDSB and private schools within the Greater Toronto area. Groups in all other locations in Canada are provided on virtual platforms. Older youth, adults and caregiver groups are held on virtual platforms and available throughout Canada.

We learn the value and importance, as well as the skill of TLC; talking, listening and connecting, through small facilitated groups where participants experience compassion and empathy, make connections and gain life long skills.

FIA's mission “To create a safe place for young people and their caregivers to identify and share
their stress in order to support each other compassionately.”
