Screening Tool: Social Anxiety

This survey is designed to provide a quick assessment of whether you show signs and symptoms of social anxiety. However, no test is 100% accurate. No matter what your score is, you should seek help if you have any concerns about yourself or your loved ones.

1. Do you worry a lot about being embarrassed, or humiliated in social situations?
2. Is this worry so severe that it cause problems, or gets in the way in your life?

The screening questions used here are based on diagnostic criteria from the DSM-IV criteria for Social Anxiety Disorder. To our knowledge, there is not yet any free, public domain, validated screening scale for this condition. Nonetheless, if you are aware of such a scale, please let us know.
